GetBlock, a pioneer in Web3 infrastructure, proudly announced the release of its new crypto faucets dashboard on June 3, 2024. The GetBlock faucets kit now supports all mainstream L1s and L2s on the Ethereum Virtual Machine, from the very first iterations.

In addition to the existing networks, developers can now access the Ethereum Sepolia and Polygon Amoy testnets, along with Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Scroll, Blast, Linea, and zkSync Sepolia testnets for L2-focused projects.
CEO Arseniy Voitenko welcomed the launch of the new crypto faucets and encouraged Web3 enthusiasts to give them a try. The Sepolia and Amoy testnets offer a modern testing environment to replace Ethereum Goerli and Polygon Mumbai, allowing developers to experiment with smart contracts and dApps without any risk. Since testnet tokens hold no real value, developers can safely test their applications across these networks without the fear of losing funds.
All Sepolia faucets are now accessible to developers, regardless of their tier on GetBlock. Users can claim free test ETH or MATIC from the faucets, even with a free account. Registration on GetBlock can be done using an email, Google Account, or MetaMask wallet. Additionally, paid tariff plans offer the flexibility of fiat and crypto payments, making GetBlock the first RPC node provider to combine Web3 authorization benefits with fiat payment support.
To prevent abuse, GetBlock has set limitations on the faucets. Users can claim 0.02 ETH daily for free, and developers must have at least 0.001 ETH in their wallet to start using the testnet faucets. These restrictions ensure that all developers can access test ETH promptly.
With the introduction of the new crypto faucets, GetBlock expands its commitment to the global Web3 ecosystem. Developers can now stress-test dApps on major platforms like Polygon and Ethereum, as well as popular L2s like Arbitrum and Optimism, and cutting-edge ZK-powered platforms like Scroll, Linea, Base, and zkSync. This initiative is part of GetBlock’s ongoing efforts to support Web3 developers worldwide.
In addition to the crypto faucets, GetBlock has released free explorers for various blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, NEAR Network, and Harmony. These explorers enable developers and crypto users to navigate through blocks, transactions, accounts, and validators without the need for coding.
GetBlock also recently launched a Marketplace, indexing reliable and innovative services for Web3 users. The company offers free access to its blockchain nodes for accounts with up to 40,000 requests daily, providing an ideal starting point for prototypes and personal usage. Paid packages are available for those requiring more extensive usage.
Furthermore, GetBlock supports the Ophir Institute, an educational initiative for the next generation of Web3 creators. Students at the institute can build and test their apps on GetBlock’s nodes for free, contributing to the global mission of accelerating Web3 adoption.
GetBlock connects crypto apps to over 50 blockchains, both testnets and mainnets, with RPC nodes boasting up to 99.99% uptime and accessible via gRPC, WebSockets, or JSON RPC interfaces.
