In George Town, Cayman Islands on June 12th, 2024, the VGX Foundation has revealed a new collaboration with the popular web3 game, Honeyland. This partnership will provide rewards to players using the VGX token.
VGX is a token that connects various chains and is dedicated to enhancing utility within the GameFi and gaming ecosystems. Honeyland, a well-liked blockchain-based casual strategy game accessible on iOS and Android, as well as one of the leading games on Solana, will now offer VGX rewards to holders of Genesis Eggs, Bees, or Queens. These rewards will be distributed based on a snapshot of holders taken at 17:00 UTC on June 6, 2024. Players who receive VGX will also have the opportunity to use it at Gala Games to purchase a Voyager: Ascension season pass, unlocking the ability to earn GVGX rewards.
In addition to the VGX reward for Genesis holders, from June 12 to June 19, all Honeyland players will have access to a free VGX cosmetic trait in the Honeyland Cosmetic Shop. This trait is a VGX-themed “Mad Hatter” style hat that can be fused to any Bee, boosting the Capacity trait for that Bee.
