Terraform Labs and former CEO Do Kwon have agreed to pay $4.5 billion to settle civil fraud charges brought by the SEC, relating to the collapse of UST and LUNA in 2022. MoonPay’s expansion of its PayPal integration aims to offer a seamless experience for users in the UK and EU, similar to the successful US launch. This allows customers to buy over 110 cryptocurrencies using PayPal balance, bank withdrawals, or debit cards.

OKX has confirmed user account breaches due to identity theft, with a hacker obtaining personal information through forged judicial documents. The exchange is compensating affected users and investigating the matter with judicial authorities.

Circle is enhancing its support for the Solana blockchain with programmable wallets and gas stations, enabling developers to automate asset management and streamline tasks through smart contracts.

In the UK, there is a rising concern over crypto trading addiction, with NHS CEO Amanda Pritchard urging lawmakers to address the issue. Pritchard highlighted the need for specialist gambling addiction clinics and expressed concerns over the increasing sophistication of methods keeping individuals hooked on cryptocurrency trading.
